Dave Mason music is too relaxing

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

I am a teenager and ever since my childhood, I have been a music addict. I listen to almost all sorts of music, ranging from English classics to modern day hip-hop. I enjoy listening to instrumental music played on guitars. Whenever I feel depressed or enervated, I play some of the best tracks. One of my favorite singers is the great rock and roll star Dave Mason. His music soothes my mind and brings great relief.

Being an ardent fan of Mason, I joined the Dave Mason fan club at http://dave-mason.worldwidefanclubs.com/. It enabled me to keep a track on his releases. His recent release, 26 Letters and 12 Notes took six long years in its making. It is one of his best solo albums. I found from the forum that Mason, at the age of 18 had joined hands with Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi and Chris Wood and they together formed the famous band “Traffic”. “Feeling Alright”, which was composed by him in his early years, is regarded as a rock and roll anthem. I posted my comments and also interacted with other Mason fans. It sharpened my knowledge on his life, his career and compositions. I felt great.
